How To Order Fresh Pasture Raised Cut Up Chicken
- Choose a weekend from the drop down menu. This will be when your fresh pasture raised cut up chicken are ready for pickup. If you choose to have the chickens shipped, they will be frozen and then shipped to you the following week. You may also choose multiple dates/box sizes and add them to your cart one at a time.
- Choose your box size. There is a price break starting at the 64-69lb box, and then our 220lb box is the lowest price we offer.
- Choose to pay in full or pay a deposit and then complete check-out. Please note, these payments are non-refundable.
- We will send you an email reminder the week of pickup for your fresh chicken. If you only paid the deposit, the balance will be due upon pickup. If you choose to have your chickens shipped to you, we will send you an invoice by email if you did not make mayment in full. If you are not able to pickup your fresh chickens during our fresh chicken pickup hours, your order will be frozen and we ask you schedule a pickup with us within 1 week.
Frequently Asked Questions
Weight: Our chickens range in weight from 4.75-6.5lbs. So please note that the number of chickens and package counts in a box is an approximation, so you may recieve more or less than the stated amount of chickens in a box. But your box will weigh within the stated range for which you ordered.
What cuts will I recieve? Per 4 chickens ordered you can expect to receive:
(4) packs boneless skinless chicken breast (2 breasts per pack)
(2) packs bone in skin on chicken thighs (4 per pack)
(2) packs chicken drumsticks (4 per pack)
(1) pack chicken tenders (about 8 per pack)
(1) pack chicken party wings (about 16 pieces per pack)
(2) packs chicken backs/bones (2 per pack)
Please note: These package counts are approximations, and may go up or down to match your box weight.
How are the chickens packaged?: All cuts will be packaged in a vaccum sealed package to maintain freshness in your freezer.
Are they actually fresh?: Yup! This will be chicken we have just received back from the butcher that has not yet been frozen. Since we don't have to freeze and inventory the chicken, we pass those savings along to you; this is a less expensive way to purchase our chicken than buying individual all ready frozen cuts.
How are they raised and processed?: All of our chicken is raised in open air schooners that we move to fresh pasture regularly. This allows them to get plenty of fresh air and sunshine, and allows them to eat grasses, bugs and worms. They are supplemented with a Non-GMO, soy free feed and probiotic. We never use any vaccines, MRNA, antibiotics or added hormones with our chickens. We have our chickens processed humanely at a small USDA inspected facility.
