Pasture-Raised Chicken Breast — Non-GMO, Soy-Free
Pasture-raised chicken breast is the weeknight staple, done right at the source: birds that live outdoors on Maryland grass, moved to fresh pasture every morning, fed a Non-GMO, soy-free ration on top of what they forage — no antibiotics, no added hormones. Boneless, skinless, vacuum-sealed by the pack, and shipped frozen to 24 states or picked up at the farm.
What Makes a Pastured Breast Different
Chicken breast is the cut where industrial shortcuts show up most — pale, watery, and bland is what confinement raising produces at the fastest possible growth rate. A pastured bird grows slower and moves all day, and its breast meat shows it: firmer texture, deeper color, and flavor that doesn’t need to be breaded into existence. The daily pasture moves aren’t marketing on our farm — the shelters go to clean grass every morning, and the birds forage from there.
The feed matters too. Grass alone isn’t a complete diet for chickens, so ours get free access to a Non-GMO, soy-free ration milled fresh at a local Pennsylvania grainery — the same feed we sell to homesteaders in our farm store, because it’s the feed we trust with our own flock.
