How To Order

The above video is for a 1/2 beef, you would simply double the weights and box counts for a whole beef.
  1. Choose a month from the drop down menu. This will be when your whole beef is ready.
  2. Choose custom cuts or standard cuts. Standard cuts are a list of cuts that we will provide to the butcher for you that most people are happy with. Custom cuts has us call you to go over the cut sheet with you for 100% customization of your beef order (at no additional charge).
  3. Pay the deposit and finish check-out. This non-refundable deposit reserves your beef for you and will be taken of your order total.
  4. We will send you an email once your beef is ready for pickup at the farm. This email will have your total included. Pay your invoice at pickup, or prior to being shipped if you choose shipping as your delivery method.

Frequently Asked Questions

Pricing: Estimated total: $5100-$5900, and this includes the butcher's fee. We charge $6.49/lb. on the hanging weight. The hanging weight is the weight of the beef after hide, internals, head and hoofs have been removed.

Weight: Your take home weight will be less than the hanging weight, due to dry aging (water weight loss), trimming, and removal of bones. Expect to put 440-470lbs of beef in your freezer.

How long can I expect to feed my family off of this whole beef?: For a family of 2 adults and 2 children, this whole beef should last for about 22 months. For a family of 2 adults and 4 children, this whole beef should last for about 16 months (assumes adults eating ½lb portion and children eating 1/3 pound portion 3x per week).

How much freezer space do I need for this whole beef?: About 15 cubic feet. Typical home freezers and small chest freezers range from 3-7 cubic feet, while stand up freezers and medium size chest freezers range from 12-20 cubic feet. 

Where's The Beef Come From?: Our beef comes from our partner farmers that we work with in Pennsylvania. These farms are practicing the same methods of farming we do, including mob stock grazing, continuous rotations, no antibiotic, vaccine or hormone usage, and 100% grass fed from start to finish. They graze their cows on sweet grass pastures, ensuring a superior finished product that is 100% grass fed and grass finished.
