Freedom Valley Farm Return and Refund Policy.

All sales are final. Because we are selling temperature sensitive and time sensitive food products, we do not allow returns, exchanges or refunds at any time except for in the following cases:

  • Your order arrives warm to touch and above 40 degrees F due to a delay in shipping or extreme damage to the shipping container. 
  • Your order is damaged or flawed due to contamination, freezer burn or some other type of adulteration. These issues are subject to review and approval by Freedom Valley Farm. 

Conditions For A Refund/Replacement:

  • You must notify us of any issues the same calendar day that it occurs. Please take pictures and document the issue immediately. Call us at 443-752-4338 to report issues with your order. Notifying us the day after the issue is found will disqualify you from this policy. 
  • Pictures will most likely be required and requested. 
  • First a like with like substitution will be attempted. If a like with like substitution can not be made in a timely manner, a refund can then be given.
  • We will not be held responsible for packages that are stolen after delivery has been made (aka porch piracy). 
  • Other than substitution or refund, no other compensation will be given for lost, stolen or delayed packages, or having to work with us for getting your substitution or refund. 

Some Thawing Is Normal And Expected

  • Please keep in mind that we follow mail order food safety guidelines as outlined by the USDA. https://www.fsis.usda.gov/food-safety/safe-food-handling-and-preparation/food-safety-basics/mail-order-food-safety

  • Your order will be packed in order to arrive to you safely, at or below 40F. Please note that thawing is normal and acceptable according to the USDA guidelines, as long as the package does not arrive warm to touch (over 40F). If your package does arrive partially thawed or frosty, simply place the meat in the freezer and it will safely freeze back down hard again.
