Eggs From Pasture-Raised Hens: You Can See The Difference
Pasture-raised eggs come from hens that actually live outside — real grass, moved fresh, with room to scratch and forage — plus a Non-GMO, soy-free supplemental feed from a local Pennsylvania mill. No antibiotics, no vaccines, no added hormones. And the yolks are a deep golden orange. That’s not a marketing claim — it’s what happens when hens eat a varied diet outdoors instead of bagged feed in a confinement barn. Crack one next to a grocery-store egg and you’ll see the difference before you taste it.
Local Honey: Why Raw and Unfiltered Matters
Local raw honey is exactly what the name says — honey sourced from Cybee’s, a local honey producer from Jarrettsville Maryland. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, with no additives, no heating, no blending with imported honey. Just what the bees produced from the flowers and fields. Most honey on grocery shelves has been heated and ultra-filtered to make it clear and shelf-stable. Raw honey hasn’t been through that — it stays closer to how it comes out of the hive, with all the natural texture and character intact. It will crystallize over time. That’s not spoilage — it’s what real honey does.
Farm-Fresh Seasonal Produce
We also grow seasonal produce on the farm — what’s available changes through the year. Check this product page regularly or reach out to find out what’s current.

Frequently Asked Questions
Pasture-raised eggs
What does pasture-raised mean for eggs?
The hens live on pasture and forage outdoors, not confined to a barn — and we move them to fresh grass so they’re always on clean ground.
Are your hens given antibiotics or hormones?
No antibiotics, no vaccines, no added hormones.
Why are the yolks so dark or orange?
Diet — hens on varied pasture produce deeper-colored yolks than hens on bagged feed. It’s a sign of the diet, not a dye or additive.
How long do fresh eggs last?
Fresh farm eggs can last several weeks refrigerated, often longer than store eggs.
Are your eggs fertilized?
Some may be — it’s natural with a free-range flock. Fertilized eggs are identical nutritionally and taste the same.
About the honey
What does "raw" honey mean?
Honey that hasn’t been heated or ultra-filtered. It retains its natural texture and character, including pollen.
What's the difference between raw honey and store honey?
Store honey is usually heated and filtered for clarity and shelf life. Raw honey skips that process — it’s closer to how it comes out of the hive.
Why does my honey crystallize?
Crystallization is natural in raw honey and doesn’t mean it’s gone bad. Warm the jar gently in warm water to reliquefy it.
Does raw honey expire?
Properly stored honey has an extremely long shelf life. Keep it sealed, at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
What sizes does your honey come in?
Available in 16oz and 24oz jars.
