Feed for Every Stage
Meat Chicks
Non-GMO Project Certified
Our layer, grower, starter, and hog feed are all Non-GMO Project Certified Fertrell formulas, ground fresh from grain we buy in bulk from a local Pennsylvania grainery that sources from local farms. That short supply chain matters: grain starts losing nutrients about 30 days after milling, and most bagged feed at the store is already 90 days old by the time it hits the shelf. Ours isn’t. We sell it in 40-pound increments — bring your own bucket or use our bag — for pickup at the farm.
The Feed We Actually Use
Homesteader supplies start with the feed we trust enough to use ourselves. Raising your own flock or a couple of pigs? We sell the same Non-GMO, soy-free feed we give our own animals, ground fresh — no mystery bags, no fillers. If it’s good enough for the chicken and pork we put on our own table, it’s good enough for yours.

Why Choose Freedom Valley Farm
We don’t resell feed we wouldn’t use ourselves — this is the exact ration that builds our own flock and herd, ground fresh and Non-GMO Project Certified. When you buy feed or chicks from us, you’re getting the same start we give our own animals, from a family that actually farms.
